Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on the 28th of October 1967 at Atlanta. Roberts is from the fourth generation of Roberts family to have resided in Atlanta. This began with her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was an agriculturalist. The Robertses' father was interested in the theatre at a young time. While a student of Emory University in 1952 he acted in productions on campus as well as in other parts of Atlanta. When he joined the Air Force, in 1953 he appeared in an air force production in Biloxi with Betty Lou Bredemus. Eric Anthony was their first born. The couple got married in 1957. Walter was a student at Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana after leaving the Airforce in 1957. Walter was a part of the Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio when the family moved from Atlanta to Decatur in Georgia in 1960. Walter as well as Betty Lou produced a Saturday morning local television show for children named Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964. This was a project they self-financed. In 1964 Walter and Betty Lou established The Actors and Writers Workshop. The workshop lasted 6 years. In 1965, they welcomed two new children: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
