Sarah Michelle Gellar has been a film actress for many years. The role she played as Buffy Summers in the hit television show 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer,' was highly well-received and garnered her many prizes. She was predestined to be an actress. She was discovered by an agent when she was aged just four and asked to audition for a part in the television film, 'An invasion of Privacy'. This gave her a platform in the media and she became a child model. When she was a little girl, she continued to appear in TV programs and even secured minor part in Hollywood film. Her first break began when at the age of a teenager, she was chosen to play Sydney Rutledge in the teen drama "Swans' Crossing'.
